In the hood

Well i have being knitting like mad to get Lottie's hoodi finished in time for school well as i sewn up the last seams and blocked was thinking to myself ....umm its very big i know that teenagers like baggy thing don't fret it will be fine .
I was so pleased to show it to her put it on love ......my face dropped like a lead balloon ......what had i done it was massive it was that big it would have been too big for the Roley ploys all of them
don't fret mum Lotty said it was nice though well i hadn't got the heart to un pick it all so i went straight out to the wool shop and got some more yarn this time its a little darker and has a fleck in it and she like it better ha typical
i have gone down a needle size and gone down three dress sizes i don't know what was going throw my head and why i didnt do that in the first place .................would have saved myself a lot of time and money
well is till took pics anyway and it was nice just got too find a very large recipient to enjoy it

Well how time just wizzz bye its only 14 weeks till Christmas would you believe it .....

I have finally got some pictures of finished thing at long last .

 this little flounce bag with ruffels was something i found on ravelry a bit of fun but looks so sparkley

 The colour of this cotton cardi is a lot bluer than in the photo but the cotton is a lovely feel and realy nice to wear very pleased how it turned out and has washed really well so i shall give this one at least 4 stars

 I found a beautiful glizz buton to set it off nicely

Here is a lovely cabled cardi in a lovely yarn by James Brett . It has a fleck of blue and browns going through lovely and soft east pattern to follow whilst watching tv and has turn out nice pleased with this one fits very nice

it was my wedding anniversary on Saturday 17years god that went so fast
my wounderfull marty got me the best present a girl could ask for ........diamond's you say ..no not for me .......
he bought me some thing much better than that ...a green house god i was so excited

i made him build it straight away and Ive got it organised already ............its fab

My beautifull girl

Well my mum said i was always good at making this and here's one i made nearly seventeen years ago and she just as beautiful inside and out as the day i made her (with a little help from her dad ....lol)

I was so proud of her on the night of her prom i wish we had proms when i was at school ........god help my poor mum can you imagine what get up i would have been wearing .........i dread to think 

god its like looking at myself

 Marty did the honuor of driving her and her friend to the hotel lots of girls went together in posh cars and vercials we went one better and had the best looking chaufer and themost proudest dad in the land and we decked up the car with gold ribbons her and amie felt a millon dollers

They look so grown up young ladies .

it was worth all the shoe leather and heart ache .....looking for the right dress as i stand there taking pictures trying not to blubber like a compleate wolly and show myself up .........and Charlotte

Well all i can say is that i was on  cloud nine that night and i didnt even get too go.... or even get my picture took with my beautyfull daughter ......oh well back to work cinders .........

Well life is good at the moment and everybody i know and love seam to be happy
I am really enjoying my garden at the moment as it has started to come alive the colours are really love ly.

I'm so proud of my gardening efforts i know now that I'm getting old as i chat to the ladies in the shop i get all excited when some one mentions gardening .........lol..

a lot of these plant i have grown from seeds
and i have really enjoyed doing it ,somewhere bulbs that i got from pound land of all places ,my mum says i must have green fingers 

these seeds wont be ready to go out till next year I'm hoping to plan colour in the garden all year round

the lilies took while to come out but there worth it

For months i have wanted to have a go at the pin wheel cardigan and finally i gave in and i must say i love it ...........

Yes it got a bit teadus donut the eyelet frill around the edge but it was worth it and i have had lots of admires
The wool i used was hayfield self patterning and really complements the pattern
